Meet Our Team
Every provider at medAge brings clinical expertise and a personal investment in your outcomes. This is what physician-led aesthetics actually looks like.
Dr. Laura Ellis
MD
Founder, medAge Customized Medicine & Aesthetics
Dr. Laura Ellis is the physician whose vision built medAge — and whose credentials set the standard every provider on this team works to uphold. A vein surgeon and specialist in aesthetics, anti-aging medicine, and athletic development, Dr. Ellis founded one of the first independent Vein Surgery and Aesthetic Centers in the country in 2003. Today, her practice spans offices in North Carolina and Southern California, with medAge Asheville as the anchor of that network.
Dr. Ellis earned her medical degree from the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine and has published research on laser skin rejuvenation in peer-reviewed journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery Quarterly. She serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Vein Therapy News and on the Board of Advisors for Aesthetic Business & Technology, and is a member of Vein Experts and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
She is the author of Skin Care Secrets from The Inside Out: A Step by Step Guide to Great Skin at Any Age, and her surgical practice serves as a preferred physician training center for advanced cosmetic, laser, and vein techniques. Dr. Ellis lives in Asheville, North Carolina.
Dr. Sarah Long
DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Clinical Lead
Dr. Sarah Long is the clinical heart of medAge and the founding mind behind Dr. Live Long — a longevity medicine and health optimization practice built on the belief that aging is something we can actively influence, not just manage. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and clinical lead at medAge, Dr. Long brings a rare combination of primary care depth and aesthetic medicine expertise that gives every patient a genuinely comprehensive level of care.
Her clinical work spans medical aesthetics, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and preventive longevity medicine. Where most aesthetic practices focus only on how you look, Dr. Long is equally focused on how your body functions — because the two are more connected than most people realize. She has built medAge's longevity-forward approach from the ground up, integrating medical-grade skincare, hormonal health, and performance medicine into a practice model that treats the whole person.
Dr. Long lives in Asheville with her partner, Eric, and brings the same intentionality to her life outside the clinic that she brings to her patients. She is the founder of Dr. Live Long, home of Foundation — medAge's membership-based longevity and performance medicine program. If you've ever wondered whether your aesthetic care could be part of a larger investment in your long-term health, Dr. Long is the provider to have that conversation with.
Grace Liedman
BSN, RN
Aesthetic Nurse · Device Specialist
Grace brings a rare combination of emergency-level clinical training and aesthetic precision to her work at medAge. A graduate of Saint Anselm College's Honors Program — Cum Laude with a 3.47 GPA — she holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with advanced certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and emergency care. Before joining medAge in early 2025, Grace spent years as an Emergency Room RN at Mission Memorial Hospital, where she built the fast-thinking, high-stakes clinical judgment that now makes her one of the most trusted injectors and device specialists on the team.
At medAge, Grace has quickly become the go-to provider for our most advanced treatments. She is our primary specialist for Ultherapy, CO2 Laser, Morpheus8, and IPL through the InMode Optimas platform — devices that require a clinician who understands anatomy, tissue response, and patient safety at a deep level. Her emergency nursing background isn't just a resume line; it's the reason patients feel genuinely safe in her hands.
Originally from New England, Grace traded Maine winters for the Blue Ridge Mountains and now calls Asheville home with her partner, Dakota. She continues to work part-time in the Mission Memorial ER, which keeps her clinical edge sharp. Grace's approach to aesthetics mirrors her approach to emergency care: methodical, patient-first, and never rushed.
Madison Brookshire
BSN, RN
Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Madison is proof that the best aesthetic providers are the ones who understand what it means to feel strong from the inside out. A proud Western North Carolina native, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University — where she was a four-year member of the App State cheerleading team — before completing her BSN at Western Carolina University. Her dual background in exercise science and nursing gives her a uniquely well-rounded understanding of how the body works and what real, lasting confidence looks like.
Madison joined the medAge team in October 2025 and has quickly become the provider patients turn to when they're exploring aesthetic medicine for the first time. Her warm, approachable energy makes consultations feel less like appointments and more like conversations — exactly the kind of experience first-timers need to feel comfortable and informed before committing to treatment.
When she's not in the clinic, Madison is most likely exercising, exploring trails with her two doodles, or making her way back to Boone on a football Saturday with her family. She knows Western North Carolina deeply — because she's always been a part of it.
Jordana Alexis
CMA · Licensed Cosmetologist · CPT
Client Coordinator
Jordana is usually the first voice you hear and the first face you see at medAge — and that's by design. With over a decade in medicine and seven years focused on aesthetic care, she brings a depth of experience to patient coordination that goes well beyond scheduling. She holds certifications as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Cosmetologist, and Personal Trainer — a trifecta that gives her a uniquely holistic perspective on patient care. She also performs laser hair removal and supports a variety of treatments at the clinic.
Originally from Miami, Jordana has called Asheville home for eight years. Outside of work, she's all about her two kids, husband, and parents — whether relaxing at home or heading to the Dominican Republic for a family getaway.
Eric Rodriguez
Practice Administrator
Eric joined medAge in late 2024, bringing over 13 years of executive leadership experience — most recently in franchise development for Lotus Cars USA. He oversees operations, marketing, and the systems that keep medAge running smoothly behind the scenes. A native Texan now rooted in Asheville, Eric made the move with his partner, Dr. Sarah Long, with a clear goal: build something meaningful for this community.
He's also a genuine believer in what the practice offers — peptide therapies helped him with energy and sleep, and medical-grade skincare finally cleared acne he'd battled for over 20 years. Off the clock: Longhorn football, live music at The Orange Peel, tapas at Curate, guitars, and cold beers.
Eliza Satterfield
Health Documentation Specialist
Eliza works alongside our clinical team during patient visits to handle documentation — so your provider can stay completely focused on you. It's a behind-the-scenes role that makes a meaningful difference in how care feels. She's currently on her path to Physician Assistant school, which means she brings genuine clinical curiosity to everything she does here.
A three-year Asheville resident, Eliza is still discovering new things to love about the city. Off the clock: block printing, botany, swimming, and traveling whenever she can.
