What Should I Expect?

When you come into our Asheville office for your treatment, Dr. Laura Ellis will first mark the areas to be treated. Local anesthesia will then be administered ensuring you are comfortable throughout the procedure. Once the area(s) are numbed, the fatty tissue and skin are treated with RFAL. The applicator heats both the inside and outside of the treatment areas to melt fat and tighten the skin.

The entire procedure can take between 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the patient and areas to be treated. You will be given compression garments to wear.

While individual results may vary, most patients see a visible improvement 4-12 weeks post-treatment.
