The latest trend in non-surgical facelift procedures is the thread lift. Known as a minimally invasive, less aggressive alternative to a surgical facelift, it also costs less. The Lift is used to pull sagging skin to its desired position.

The thread lift uses special biodegradable suture threads that dissolve completely. The threads feature unique arrow-shaped small barbs to hook onto connective tissue instantly restoring a youthful-looking jawline.

What Should I Expect with Cosmetic Threads?

When you arrive at our office, we will ensure you are as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure.  We cleanse your face and apply local anesthesia.  The threads are then inserted with a fine needle.  Our practitioner tightens the skin tissue in a lifted position during the healing process.  The entire procedure will last about an hour.

Be prepared to see results immediately and to continue noticing improvements 2 weeks after treatment.  Return to most normal activities right after the procedure.  It will be 1-3 years before you decide on additional treatments to freshen up the lift.

Following the procedure, you may experience some bruising, swelling, and tenderness in the region.  We recommend using ice packs and taking pain relievers.  Side effects are normal and symptoms typically disappear after several days to 2 weeks.
