How Sculptra® Works
Similar to other dermal fillers, Sculptra® is injected into the skin. When you arrive for your Sculptra® treatment, we will map the injection sites and clean the area. For your comfort, we can apply a topical anesthetic. Depending on the area and the patient, multiple small injections may be required.

What Should I Expect?
You may experience swelling and bruising at the injection site. Common side effects include bleeding, redness, and tenderness. We recommend applying a cold ice pack to the affected area within 24 hours after treatment. You should also massage the area a few times a day for about a week. Avoid sunlight or tanning beds until redness and swelling have disappeared.
Some patients may notice results immediately, but to see full results, it can take a few months.
